Star Labyrinth Quilt Block Pattern

At first the pattern is called Star Labyrinth Quilt Block. This name is really very interesting because the design of the pattern is exactly as the name says, a labyrinth and in its center a very well made star, in this case we can create the star that we like or want.

Already specifically this labyrinth must be made as the image demonstrates. It should be noted that there are other quilt patterns referring to the labyrinth, including some in 3D, full of returns, others in triangles, and others stylized. Ours is basically the star in the center of the labyrinth which is either a rhombus through a square or a square through the rhombus.

It is important to read and understand specifically about this pattern that we are going to post here for you to read and download. Pay close attention before downloading this pattern to understand why we put it here.

First this pattern is not ours under any circumstances. All of it belongs to the designer Janet Wickell at thesprucecrafts.com.

According to some people commented that they can read the pattern perfectly but unfortunately the internet goes down, or crashes and other due problems that we have specified. I really understand situations like this so always remember that the credits belong only to Jante Wickell. But the image in this article was made by my mother following the tips of the pattern.

While making the labyrinth quilt block pattern I used squares and HSTs (half-square triangles). So there are two standard measurements for cutting instructions of the fabrics which, to me, is less complicated. Hope this labyrinth quilt block tutorial will be useful for you.

This Labyrinth quilt block pattern explains how to make one version of the many quilt designs known by that name. This example is a star with two interwoven border areas.

The center of the Labyrinth quilt block is a quarter square triangle unit, and that’s what you’ll find in the instructions, but the center can be created from any patchwork that finishes at three inches by three inches. Try the following PDF 100%!

From there, the designs get more intricate to Star Labyrinth Quilt Block Pattern.  There are swirls in the outer brown square, hexagons in the outer blue square, and some fancy feathers in the cream.  I think the feathers in the cream is my favorite part of this whole quilt!  I love how visible they are.

Unfortunately, my pictures of the borders didn’t come out as well, but you can still get an idea of the quilting.  I did straight lines in the brown borders, and some different fancy feathers in the blue rectangles.  In the outer blue border, I did a woven Celtic design and Star Labyrinth Quilt Block Pattern.
