Interwoven Bigger Quilt pattern free

Interwoven Bigger Quilt Pattern was a find, actually a great find he free here at this site I found it https://patternjam.com, and actually I was after this pattern for days, because I really want to make a nice curtain and do some tests to see if they would look good or not where I want to hang it.

Interwoven Bigger Quilt Pattern

Interwoven Bigger Quilt Pattern
Interwoven Bigger Quilt Pattern

I’ll be very honest with you, I’ve spent hours looking at this pattern and trying to understand what its design portrays, in fact the only thing that came and I always see in it Interwoven Bigger Quilt  is the 3D, and if you look further away that’s where the 3D pattern stands out even more.

Particularly I really liked the pattern, the techniques used that are as simple as cutting the fabrics, and that actually will need about 300 pieces of fabric or more to make the size I need.

I really want to make it in the colors pink and white, or in these shades, but seeing the picture in blue with black and its shades I also liked a lot, so I’m in doubt now in which colors to create, so I’m going back to the old habit of making a mini to test!

A and speaking of testing I always do that, I make mini Interwoven Bigger Quilt pieces of the patterns I find to know if it will work, if the colors will match as I want, or even to get the cuts and seams right.

But truth be told this pattern when I stare at it makes my eyes cross hahah. And I haven’t even started to make it yet, now imagine when I start making it, I think I’ll feel a little sick hahah.

Jokes aside, this pattern is one of those that we can do with the most diverse types of colors, and depending on the colors I believe that the most intense one will be red.

The green can give you an optical illusion aspect, I believe that if you stare for a few minutes you will have the impression that the “drawing” is moving which can make the pattern even more intriguing or differentiated, after all 3D always gives us that perspective, doesn’t it?

I hope you enjoyed this article and that you can actually make the Interwoven Bigger Quilt pattern for whatever or wherever you use it, because it really does treat the quilt in a more challenging way, especially when it is inside our homes.

Raspberry Quilt Pattern free

Raspberry Quilt Pattern was sent to us by an anonymous reader who found this pattern just as beautiful and frankly I love the various shades of pink in this pattern. From what I could see in the PDF this pattern was created by Caroline Hadley from geometriquilt.com, which she made a perfect combination of using geometric shapes with pink tones.

Raspberry Quilt Pattern

Raspberry Quilt Pattern draws attention because it is not only a pattern, but because of the geometric shape created, and we can see Caroline Hadley’s love for creating the pattern, and for using the geometric shapes for a perfect performance of the final idea.

Usually in patterns like this Raspberry Quilt Pattern, we can see some things from the designer deep down that usually a creation shows who its creator is. By using shades of pink and pure rose, we see that the person has a heart full of love, because it is said that people who love pink and red colors are people who have a heart full of love, be it for animals, be it for plants, be it for people, or any other that makes them feel happy.

And it goes far beyond just loving and being loved, this pattern used on a beautiful quilt clearly shows, (it can be a quilt, tablecloth, or other), that the person is happy and also has dreams to be fulfilled.

And do you have a dream that you really want to be realized? If you are a beginner in sewing, or as a quilter you know that you will have a long way to go, you will need to give up sleeping some nights and stay awake to learn or even create your own projects or Quilt free Pattern.

So how about we do this beautiful and wonderful project together? Let’s go back to the pattern, I think I got carried away here (laughs).

Geometry is a strong ally of those who love to make quilts, be it a set, a simple rug or the most complete quilt pattern and perhaps the most complicated of all the famous 3D quilts. Can you imagine this Raspberry Quilt Pattern in 3D?

It all depends on the geometry and can be both wonderfully beautiful and terribly complicated to make, but there is no such thing as impossible for a quilter, and so works like this Raspberry Quilt Pattern made by Caroline Hadley can be made in the most varied colors and geometric shapes.

Want to make your own Raspberry Quilt Pattern now? Then you can make it and change the colors or use the same colors, make it the same size or bigger or smaller, well as I always say it is up to each one to decide what they want and how they want to do it. I hope you enjoyed this wonderful Raspberry Quilt Pattern.

Using fabrics with beautiful colors can make our home cozier and especially in these days of intense cold that we are, the cold even hurts our bones, but the truth is that even a beautiful and well elaborated quilt of this Sanctuary Quilt Block makes a difference, that’s where the game of colors comes in!

In the case of this Sanctuary Quilt Block pattern you can use colors that draw heat, like black, yellow and others that you like to use in yours. Unlike the heat that we should use cooler colors to give that refreshing impression (at least I think and feel that way).

On the other hand you can make your home more beautiful by using this pattern when making your quilt bedspreads, decorative towels (in this case in the form of appliqué with soft fabrics that go well with your bath towel, table runner, rugs, pillows and etc. And it also appeals to all audiences, as there are many ways and styles of making the block.

Sanctuary Quilt, a wonderful and different work that should be done calmly and has a very beautiful result, keep that in mind. In the decoration of the bedroom this quilt can make the atmosphere cheerful and romantic can also be make the environment more delicate.

It is worth making pieces of this kind that make us proud of our handicraft skills. Very well explained in the tutorial, this work was made with these beautiful colors, but if you wish you can also use the ones you prefer. The colors of your quilt will depend on your taste. Choose your fabric according to the decoration you want.

But with love and patience it is possible to make amazing works. Sanctuary Quilt is the kind of work that, although relatively easy, may require a little more patience when composing the piece. We hope you enjoyed this pattern, and that you can always visit us for more beautiful blocks.

Lady of the Lake quilt block free

Lady of the Lake quilt block tutorial use yardage, however all the pieces were less than 10″ so I decided I would use one of my layer cakes (I might just have a few ‘laying’ about!!) and chose Sweetwater’s The Cookie Exchange. You may recall that last year when the pandemic started, a number of designers for Riley Blake created a weekly quilt block challenge (you can see the mini quilt I made using those blocks here). Well, it was so fun and successful, we are doing it again this year!

Have you heard of the Lady Of The Lake quilt block? The traditional patchwork design is typically sewn with only two contrasting fabrics. Two sizes of half square triangle units are used to make the quilt block. You can also create scrap quilt blocks if you want to, just make sure to choose contrasting colors so that the pattern emerges.

This quilt block tutorial was named after a poem by Sir Walter Scott, published in 1810. The pioneer men and women loved the tales of Sir Walter Scott, and the women honored him by naming a patchwork block after the poem. The earliest quilted Lady of the Lake block appeared in 1820. This is one of the few quilt blocks that has never been known by another name!  Keep the tradition alive and quilt your own version of this gorgeous block today! Happy quilting, friends!

The Riley Blake Designs block challenge started in February and will run until June, but it’s never too late to join in on the fun! You can find out all of the details including block patterns, designer names, fabric requirements, etc. on Riley Blake’s website – here. They’ll also be sharing a layout option at the end when you complete all 16 blocks!

Carpenter’s Wheel Pattern

Carpenter's Wheel Pattern by jordanfabrics.com
Carpenter’s Wheel Pattern by jordanfabrics.com

Carpenter’s Wheel Pattern it looks like a wheel in a really “archaic” way, but in fact the biggest attraction of the pattern here is not only the assembling of it in a different style or shape, but the fabrics.

As you can see there are two types of fabrics here to make the pattern wonderful, in this case the shape that you can make it in. Another interesting thing that we can notice is that the red pattern on the second image below can be used for Christmas and as we are not so far away from that date, let’s get to the ideas.

The first option that you should use when making this pattern is as a table path, then you can make plate rests, also cup holders and some accessories to use during your Christmas dinner.

Isn’t it interesting how we can use these two wonderful fabrics in many ways? And it doesn’t stop there, you can use the patterns as a wonderful comforter for your bed.

These days I was walking with my husband here in the center of our city in search of new fabrics for an order and I saw a wonderful carpet for the bed, like a quilt or a kind of cover for the bed, that’s when I saw these two types of fabrics.

I then asked the seller of the store if he had knowledge and according to him it was a seamstress nearby who had sold it to them (on order) it was then that I sought information and met the wonderful jordanfabrics.com and now I am presenting to you these wonderful patterns.

We hope you have enjoyed these articles that we have brought you as news and we will continue to bring you more about fabrics and about several others that you need to know about as well as the best patterns.

Pinwheel Sawtooth Star Quilt Block

Pinwheel Sawtooth Star Quilt Block
Pinwheel Sawtooth Star Quilt Block

Of course you can make the size of the block as needed or even as you like. choosing the size of the block is fundamental so that the pattern comes out in the size of what you want and this is important because a large pattern is usually used for beds or sofas or even a large table.

I have seen in a small store this pattern pinwheel Sawtooth Star Quilt Block being sold as a rug for a large room, which in this case the lady who made it used reddish fabrics in black, red and white colors. Her living room rug looked very nice and matched the decor of her living room in which the sofa and some of the furniture was black.

Well it is true that the colors influence a lot in this type of block and really you should choose fabrics that please you is not because a particular pattern has color x that you should be using the same color.

A very interesting thing is also that you should always customize the Star Quilt Block free pattern, Pinwheel Sawtooth Star Quilt Block especially when it comes to blocks quilt the customization by is essential if you have a small shop, a studio or even a boutique that sells only products for the bedroom, sheets, bedspreads, comforters, bedding, mattress padding, blankets and bed covers.

Really this block can be used in as many ways as you can imagine, and to point out this pattern was not created by us, but by Bonnie at her website https://lakegirlquilts.com.

Bears Paw Variation Quilt

Yes, the Bears Paw Variation Quilt or my shaved bear paw quilt is ready and I am very pleased with it. It is bright and cheerful, and a very useful size too. Several people in our guild are making the same pattern and we hope to have a great show and tell at our November meeting. I will post a picture when the hall is filled with beautiful scraping bear paw quilts.

Bears Paw Variation Quilt

Bears Paw Variation Quilt
Bears Paw Variation Quilt

Bears Paw Variation Quilt can and is a scrappy that you can make using colored fabrics or tons that differ from each other when assembling your block. The big idea I always have in making patterns like these, actually with Bear’s Paw is to use fabrics that form a gradient from inside out to inside in or vice versa.
For example, the gradient when done from the outside to the inside gives an air of quality fabrics, color combination and style, and this gradient is yes when the fabric is dark at the edges and lightens towards the center of the block.

Patchwork quilts. My quilting heart belongs to scrap quilts! There is no denying that I have lots of fabric scraps (and fabric) and I love every scrap piece, no matter how small. Unfortunately, my scraps are not well organized; they are not sorted, pressed, or folded.

Bears Paw Variation Quilt
Bears Paw Variation Quilt

Instead, they are stored in two large plastic tubs that I regularly flip through in search of “that one piece…” that should be in there. In other words, my leftovers are out of control.

And so it has begun. Time to tame the scrap bins. This quilt design is a traditional bear paw block alternating with a patchwork square; squares and half square triangles, that’s all. Working with small half square triangles was tricky, but once I found my sewing rhythm, working in batches of 10 Bear Paw Paw blocks at a time, they seemed to come together quickly. Let me also say that I turned to my fabric stash to add a balance of colors and prints to this quilt.

Bears Paw Variation Quilt
Bears Paw Variation Quilt

Now about the Bear Paw Variation, as some people pointed out in these previous posts, we don’t have bears in New Zealand, but the block was chosen by the founding members of the guild because of its significance as the hand of friendship. They wanted the guild to be a friendly place for quilters to meet, and they certainly achieved that.

Denim Flowers Quilt free

Denim Flowers Quilt pattern developed or created if you will by Natalie Crabtree using the Marcia Derse fabric collection and is in the final size of 51 “x 51”. Now let’s talk a little bit about this beautiful find of the Denim Flowers pattern.

Denim Flowers Quilt

Denim Flowers Quilt
Denim Flowers Quilt

Denim Flowers Quilt is the kind of pattern that has with its base already our well-known desdren block quilt. It is true that there are many people who dislike the desdren, sometimes because of the format, sometimes because of the work (that’s right, there are people who find it more work to make a Dresden block than a color log cabin!

But leaving aside these issues we take into account that this “configuration” or choice of colors for this specific project was very good indeed, after all shades of white, blue and black with light strokes of other colors form a very beautiful and different concept, because it is not monochromatic and is not colored.

It also has nothing to do with duo tone, in fact it is just a wonderful way to see the chosen colors marrying more and more with each other. Of course you could replace blue with red, or green, white with pink or lilac, it’s all a matter of color and taste.

This PDF is sensational and very well explained step by step, from how to make the Dresden plates to the final assembly of the block or flower (actually it is a flower and I call it a block all the time).

The Dresden plate is one of the most well-known and easily identifiable quilt patterns. It has the perfect combination of traditional quilt design and unique piecing, making it a timeless choice for many quilters.

Making its debut in the 1920s, the Dresden plate quilt block was first published as a pattern in the 1930s. These quilts are typically easy to date because of the traditional floral prints of the time and are often made of feed sacks.

With this beautiful pattern you can make amazing other larger patterns and something that you can do is even more interesting because the colors used are the most differentiated, and another interesting thing is that you can make the pattern for a beautiful applique. I hope you liked this idea and make incredible works with the colored fabrics that you want or need.
